Long, low, and level! Meet our beloved dachshunds
At CLOUDKNINE, we pride ourselves on upholding the true standard of the Miniature Smooth Dachshund. Here, we invite you to meet the members of our pack who embody these qualities and are the heart of our breeding program.
Each dog is a beloved pet first, bringing joy and character to our home.
Whisky: Our classic old fashioned
BIS Can CH CLOUDKNINE Classic Old Fashioned, lovingly known as Whisky, is one of our exceptional girls. Born in February of 2024, Whisky has already built an impressive résumé, earning numerous accolades—including a coveted Best in Show win and, on that same unforgettable day, her Canadian Championship title. Whisky finished 2025 as the #1 Canadian Owner‑Handled Miniature Smooth Dachshund. She is fully OFA health tested and CHIC certified, giving us tremendous confidence in her future within our program. Outside the ring, Whisky is all personality. She believes every toy belongs to her, plays fetch strictly on her own terms, and insists on claiming the final snuggles of the evening from her devoted human staff. She is a loyal and affectionate companion and will be a cornerstone of our breeding program as she continues to mature.

Stella: Our goddess of stars
BISS BPISS BPIS Can GCH CLOUDKNINE Goddess of Stars, or Stella as we affectionately call her, shines brightly in every way. Born in January of 2024, Stella has impressed judges with her grace and conformation, earning Best in Specialty Show, Best Puppy in Specialty Show and Best Puppy in Show at Canada's largest dog show (Alberta Kennel Club - Summer Classic) and Multiple Best Puppy in Group titles, alongside her Canadian Grand Championship status. Stella ended 2025 as being the #2 Canadian Owner Handled Miniature Smooth Dachshund. Stella is OFA health tested and CHIC certified. Her drive for anything food-related and her great help in the kitchen, especially when green peppers or carrots are part of the menu, make her easily persuaded to recall on demand should the words "dinner time" or "cookie" be said aloud. Stella is a joy to live with, embodying the perfect blend of show-quality excellence and a loving pack member.

Tiffany: The one that can do no wrong
Tiffany, our retired and surrogate mother to all of our litters. She has always adored being that helping hand with our seasoned or first-time mothers. She lends herself unequivocally to all our moms who allow her to and knows her place well in keeping her distance when required. Having said that, she is also eager to ensure pups are warm, clean, and is usually the first to the whelping box if she hears a squeak to ensure everything is okay if mom needs to take a break. We laugh because at the age of almost 9 years old, she doesn't have a gray hair on her face, and we contribute that to her having never had to worry about a thing in her life. She is one spoiled dog and melts hearts of all those who meet her. She is the epitome of the temperament we STRIVE to have with all our animals.
Jack Daniel: A New Spirit at CLOUDKNINE
We’re excited about what lies ahead at CLOUDKNINE with our imported boy, Can CH Magik Rainbow Phoenix (IMP GRC), affectionately known as Jack Daniel. True to his personality, he chose his own name the moment we met him!
Selected to introduce a new bloodline to our program, Jack brings the breed type, conformation, pedigree, and health we were looking for as we continue building toward the future. He has already earned his Canadian Championship and is now on the road to his Grand Championship. Jack is also OFA health tested and CHIC certified.
Beyond the show ring, Jack is every bit the goofy, demanding character we fell in love with. We’re incredibly excited to see what comes next, both in his show career and through the contribution he may make to future CLOUDKNINE generations.
